Uzbekistan: Government and the UN Conclude the First Joint Programme of the Joint SDG Fund
The Government of Uzbekistan in partnership with the UN agencies concluded its first UN Joint Programme sponsored by the Joint SDG Fund. Uzbek cotton is free from systemic child labour and forced labour
Almost two million people are recruited every year for the annual cotton harvest in Uzbekistan. The country has succeeded in eradicating systemic forced labour and systemic child labour during the 2021 cotton production cycle, according to new ILO findings. Read more

Report on the Rapid Assessment Survey: The Response of Labour Dispute Resolution Mechanisms to the COVID-19 Pandemic (IN RUSSIAN)
The ILO developed and conducted a Survey to assess how labour dispute resolution mechanisms have responded to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Survey was answered online from June 2021 to August 2021 by 113 institutions from 84 countries, focusing on possible changes in the volume of labour disputes and different types of restrictions to their functioning by the pandemic.
