Promoting workers’ well-being and sustainable enterprises through digital wage payments in Jordan and Egypt

Earlier this month, our Global Centre on Digital Wages for Decent Work, the Better Than Cash Alliance, Better Work and BSR organized an online event, focussing on how responsible digital wage payments can contribute to workers’ empowerment, financial inclusion, and sustainable enterprises. We heard about good practices in the garment industry in Jordan and Egypt to transitioning to responsible digital wages through the framework of the UN Principles for Responsible Digital Payments. A recording of the event is now available in English.

Online launch event on digital wages for decent work in Cambodia

The ILO Global Centre on Digital Wages for Decent Work, Better Factories Cambodia, and the Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia organized an online launch event on ensuring a responsible transition towards digital wages in Cambodia.
