As we head into the last months of 2021, many questions remain regarding COVID-19. Some countries are easing restrictions, while others are tightening them further. The message is clear: we must find ways to live with the virus, but how do we do this? Delegates to our June conference, the ILC, discussed the impact of COVID-19 on the world of work and means for tripartite partners to work towards an inclusive, sustainable and resilient recovery.

The International Labour Review (ILR)
 
2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the ILO’s peer-reviewed journal, the International Labour Review (ILR). An ILR timeline summarizes 100 years of knowledge sharing, analysis and debate. The ILO Library joins the celebration with this collection of all ILR articles since its beginning in 1921.

At the ILO Library, we have been busy this year as we conducted a major weeding programme of our collections. We are currently packing up our offices to transfer to temporary spaces for two years of at ILO HQ renovations. Should you visit Geneva, you will find us in a modular building through 2023, or our refurbished library space from 2024.
